
Franco Cammarota graduated at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1964 with a degree in Economics and Commerce. He began his career in the international office of the Milan branch of Credito Italiano until he decided to turn to education, as a professor and later as General Director of a well-known Technical Institute in Milan.
Between 1980 and 1995 he was an Associate Professor at U.E.T. – Université Europeenne du Travail in Brussels, where he was appointed CEO, a position he still holds today.
In 1995 Cammarota entered the Information Technology business, joining the FINCONS GROUP as a shareholder and Chairman of the Board. Franco Cammarota has also held positions of responsibility in national and international organisations for many years.
Today he is Managing Director of FERB – Fondazione Europea di Ricerca Biomedica (European Biomedical Research Foundation).
Franco Cammarota is President of the Italian Professional Association of Mediation and Conciliation and he has also been awarded the honorary title of Grand Official of the Italian Republic.
