The data today confirms it: plastic pollution represents one of the most crucial issue when it comes to environmental impact. All the plastic produced to date still exists, and the numbers become more and more worrying day after day.
Fincons has decided to make its contribution and further strengthen its commitment to protecting the environment by starting a collaboration with Plastic Free, the voluntary association that fights plastic pollution.
On Saturday 30 September 2023, Fincons actively participated in the national Sea & Rivers Plastic Free event. During this day, which involved many Italian locations, participants helped clean up selected areas from plastic waste.
Fincons was present as an official sponsor in the sessions of Monza, where the Group's Italian headquarters are located, and Bari, home of the Fincons Future Gateway: in total the participants collected 1600 kg of plastic and waste.
An extraordinary result, but also a confirmation that there is still so much to do. For this reason we will continue to work every day to do our bit to protecting the environment, because the future of the next generations also depends on us.
