Franco Cammarota graduated at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 1964 with a degree in Economics and Commerce. He began his career in the international office of the Milan branch of Credito Italiano until he decided to turn to education, initially as a Professor and later as General Director of a well-known Technical Institute in Milan.
Between 1980 and 1995 he was an Associate Professor at U.E.T. – Université Europeenne du Travail in Brussels, where he was appointed Secretary-General and after Managing Director, a position he still holds today.
In 1995 Cammarota entered the Information Technology business, joining the FINCONS GROUP as a shareholder and Chairman of the Board.
Franco Cammarota has also held positions of responsibility in national and international organisations for many years:
- Managing Director of FERB – Fondazione Europea di Ricerca Biomedica (European Biomedical Research Foundation)
- Council Member of of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the Mediterranean Countries
- President of the Italian Professional Association of Mediation and Conciliation
- He has also been awarded the honorary title of Grand Official of the Italian Republic
In 2012 he was nominated member of the Technical Scientific Committee of Academic School of Linguistic Mediators of Varese.
In December 2017 he was appointed Councilor of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce for relations with the European Parliament and Commission in Bruxelles.
Since 1971, cultivating a personal passion, he is Academic of the Italian Kitchen Academy.
