Giuliano Altamura

Head of Financial Services BU, Head of Fast Data Lake Product Center

Giuliano Altamura, Computer Science Engineer since 1995, joined Fincons Group in 2004, starting as a Project Manager on some business critical projects at some important Banking clients in the Lugano, Switzerland area (Banca del Gottardo, Cornèr Banca, Aduno, BSI), by exploiting his strong technological, functional, and process competencies, in addition to his recognized managing talent.

Together with activities on projects, he also more and more supported Lugano office management in administering clients, projects, and resources, contributing in setting up a strong team of professionals specialized in the Banking area, occupying by May 2009 the role of Executive in the Lugano Office.

Since October, 2011, he took the responsibility of the Financial Services Business Unit, with the purpose of developing business at Group level in the Banking and Insurance areas.

Before joining Fincons Group, he had been working for almost nine years for Accenture, in the Financial Services market unit, gaining a strong specialization on technological subjects such as integration architectures, multi-channel architectures, development of applications for the web and for Call Centers, mainly working on CRM projects both in banking and in insurance areas. In his career, he collaborated to important high-critical projects for primary clients such as Agip, Comune di Milano, Banca Mediolanum, SAI Assicurazioni, Banca SAI, Banca Intesa, Banca Primavera, AXA Assicurazioni, Capitalia.

Oliver Botti

Head of International Business Development and Innovation

Graduated in Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano, in 1992 he started working as researcher at the Automation Research Centre of ENEL SpA. Over the years he assumed increased responsibility as Account Manager, managing for ENEL important international R&D projects.

In the same period, he acted as consultant and reviewer for the European Commission in funded ICT Research&Innovation programmes.

In 2000 he joined the Demand & Supply Chain Management Division of TXT e-solutions, involved in the development of new markets in EMEA, covering Utilities&Energy and Fashion&Retail sectors. Over the years he covered various roles in Sales and Operations and in 2006 he was appointed Director of the Large Accounts and Enterprise Applications Business Unit.

In 2007 he was EMEA Sales Director of TXT Polymedia, driving sales of Digital Content and Media Asset Management solutions for the Media&Telco markets. In 2011, as Vice President of Kit Digital and Responsible for sales in South Eastern Europe, he had the responsibility of sales activities of the video platform developed by the company.

In 2013 he joined Fincons Group as Head of International Business Development and Innovation, developing international markets as also the portfolio innovation through R&D initiatives. Following the opening of Fincons Consulting Limited in London, in 2017 Oliver Botti was also named UK Territory Manager, with the aim of promoting and consolidating the Group’s business in the new selected territories.

Francesco Calcagni

Territory Manager Verona

Francesco Calcagni was born on January 31 1967 in Padua. In May 1991 he graduated from the Department of Electronics of Padua University with a Degree in Electronic Engineering, specialising in Industrial Automation.
He began his career working with an Italian company specialising in management software for manufacturing industry.

In the second half of the ’90s he began working with other ICT companies serving professional studios, banks, insurance firms and the civil service, consolidating his technical skills and undertaking project management roles involving growing responsibility.

In 2003 he became Technical Director for the Northeast in Fincons, contributing to development of know-how and projects in the area, focusing specifically on banking and publishing. In 2012, following the NEC merger in Fincons SpA, became Territory Manager for North East Area.

Marcello Finocchiaro

Director of the Delivery Center

Graduated in Physics in 1981 at the University of Bari, after a first period as a researcher, Marcello Finocchiaro began his professional career as Head of Application Areas and Infocenter in the Information Systems Department at Sirti, a leading technology company in the design and production of network infrastructures and telecoms system integration. In the following years, his career continued with increasingly important roles in the management of organizational and information systems, first in the Italcementi Group, then in Zurich Italy, where he became Chief Operations Officer in 2008.

In 2009 he assumed the role of COO of the ITAS Group, for which he managed the ambitious organizational and technological renewal. Starting from 2011, he focuses his role in the ICT areas, with the appointment of IT Services Director.

In 2017 he joins Fincons Group as Director of the Delivery Center in Bari, with the aim of encouraging further development and structural organization, managing relations with local institutions, universities and innovation centres, promoting the acquisition and professional and personal development of employees, developing the business with local companies, optimizing delivery processes and related costs, overseeing the Program Agreements stipulated with the Puglia Region.

Greg Jarvis

Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fincons.US

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Minnesota State University and a Master of Science in Software Design and Development from the University of St. Thomas in St Paul, Minnesota.

Early in his career he was recognized for leadership and was promptly raised into senior management. He has been a general manager of two $100 million engineering firms, lead a strategy consulting division at a big four consulting firm, as well as an entrepreneur with two California based start-ups. In the years, he has acquired a broad skill set ranging from engineering, consulting, sales and business management. 

Of particular note is his experience with international consulting teams; having lead the US office expansion of a UK based engineering firm. In addition, he has served as the North American practice leader for a $1 billion offshore engineering firm based in Ukraine.

In 2017 he joined Fincons.US as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Heading up Fincons Group’s new offices in Los Angeles and New York, Greg brings to the table a wealth of experience and plans on implementing new strategies and driving growth for Fincons Group across US markets.

Amir Lavi

Head of International Sales

Graduated in 1989 at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), Amir Lavi started his career as General Manager & Director of International Marketing for Israel’s leading market research and consulting company Gallup Israel.
He then joined Admon Communication Group as a Managing Director. After several years leading sales activities for technology companies with the aim to develop sales & business efforts in the media market throughout Europe and US, he joined Sintec Media in 2006 as Vice President of Sales for APAC & Europe, after several years was appointed President of Sintec Media Americas.
In October 2018 Amir joins Fincons Group as Head of International Sales, inside the International Business Development Team, with the purpose to support the Group’s sales and business development activities in America, Europe and Asia-Pacific

Lorenzo Macchi

Practice SAP Manager

In 1999 he graduated with a degree in Business Economics at LIUC University of Castellanza (VA). After he took a specialization in ERP solutions for small and medium enterprises with a Master's degree at the same institute.

He developed his professional experience working for leading companies in the IT Consulting sector, such as SAP Italia Consulting (IBM Group), Siemens Informatica, Reply and Exprivia S.p.A. He gained competences in logistics and supply chain areas and in the management  of SAP solutions implementation projects both in Italy and abroad.

In 2008 he held the role of Manager in Accenture, where he managed business processes reengineering projects and SAP solutions implementation projects for large account clients of the manufacturing sector.

In 2011 he joined Fincons Group with the role of ERP & Manufacturing Leader, managing the development of projects on SAP Platform.

He currently holds the role of SAP Practice Manager coordinating the SAP Practice to support the Group.

Alberto Niero

Head of Media BU 

Alberto Niero holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science obtained in 1997 from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy.

He joined the Fincons Group in 2008 to develop and strengthen the media business unit and support the group operating model evolution.

He has significant experience in consulting work and a strong knowledge of the media industry in terms of business contexts, processes, systems, market packages and application frameworks.
During his professional career, after initial experiences focused on technical and application architectures in internet/intranet environments, over the last years he mainly worked on the radio-television sector specializing in Broadcast Management Systems and – more generally – on the areas of digitization of content production, management and distribution processes.
Before joining the Fincons Group, Alberto worked about 10 years in Accenture (Andersen Consulting before 2001) within the Communication Media & Entertainment Market Unit as part of the Business and System Integration Consulting Group.

During his career, Alberto helped key clients at national and international level to design and implement business and technology innovation programs, including: Mediaset, RCS MediaGroup, Star Group (News Corporation), Sky Italia, La7, Boodai Group, RAI, Wind, Omnitel, Louvre Museum, Teatro alla Scala, Sony Italia.

Pietro Porta

Territory Manager Rome

After obtaining a high school diploma in computer science in 1979, Pietro Porta decided to enter the world of work starting his career in Enel with the role of programmer. In Enel he grew professionally, taking positions of ever greater responsibility and became Project Manager in 1988.

In 1989 he joined Dow Chemical, an international company of industrial chemistry, as Project Manager for several business projects. In 1990 he held the same role within the insurance company RAS - Allianz Group.

In 1991 he returned to Enel, after a path of Project Manager on challenging and technologically innovative national projects, where he was in charge of the staff’s structure for development applications and then Responsible of purchase for ICT services, reporting to Purchasing Director, until 2001.

Until 2003 he was General Manager in a software house operating in the financial services sector. Subsequently he was Responsible for BU Energy & Utilities in B.E.E. NewTech S.p.A. (formerly Praxis Calcolo S.p.A.).

In 2011 he joined Fincons Group where, within BU Energy & Utilities, he managed several accounting activities for clients of great dimensions.

 From 2019 he has become Territory Manager for Rome office, coordinating commercial activities, supervising the delivery and managing resources assigned on the territory.

Dieter Ruther

Managing Director Fincons.DE

After his degree in electronic engineering at the Technical University in Munich, Dieter Ruther successfully fulfilled various consulting and commercial positions taking advantage of technical background, being always focused to the media sector.

Later, he took up positions as Head of Sales & Regional Manager for international operating companies providing online video solutions and services, when OTT & digital media solutions became state of the art technology.

In 2019 he became Managing Director of Fincons.DE, the German subsidiary of the Group, to manage and develop the further growth of the company into the DACH market.

Stefano Urbani

Web Solutions Practice Manager

Stefano Urbani holds a bachelor in Telecommunications Engineering obtained in 1999 from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. Stefano joined FINCONS GROUP in November 2013 to support the Practice Web growth.

Stefano has many years of experience in consulting in Italy and abroad and has developed a cross-industry experience. During his career, Stefano has dealt with Information Management, initially focusing on Business Intelligence projects then moving on to Enterprise Information Management, Web and E-commerce. Stefano also has a long experience in the role of Solution Architect, in the design  of technological solutions for Web/BI/eCommerce (internet/intranet) initiatives.

Before joining FINCONS GROUP, Stefano worked for over 13 years at Accenture (Andersen Consulting before 2001) in the System Integration & Technology service line and in the Emerging Technology group.

Simone Villa

Head of Energy & Utilities BU, Head of AMPPER and FiscalOne Product Centers

Simone Villa was born in Varese (Italy) on 1970. He graduated with Honor in Economics at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” of Milan on 1996.

On November 1996 he began his career in Andersen Consulting, Accenture since 2000, a worldwide leader consulting and technology company. He spent his first years working in the Energy industry as business consultant deployed to the Supply Chain Service Line. He got all skills and capabilities to be promoted Manager.

Since November 2001 he has begun his professional path in the Utilities industry leading, as Project/Senior Manager, different types of projects and acquiring vertical business knowledge and relations.
Since 2005 he directly has supported the Italian subsidiary Steering Committee of an international air gases company to deploy a three years European business efficiency program.

On September 2007 he joined FINCONS GROUP as Utilities Business Unit Manager and since April 2009 he has been Senior Executive and member of Fincons Group Executive Board. Since 2015 he has been responsible of Energy&Utilities Business Unit.
