This pandemic forced us to give up on a lot of things and to adapt to new situations, especially when it comes to the sport. We learned that even if following new guidelines is necessary, the teamwork we build, the emotions we live and the goals we reach are extremely bigger when face to face.
When this year we decided to support Lugano Scherma as Gold Sponsor, we knew we had to deal with atypical situations since the historical period we’re going through. So we’re glad to contribute to gifting a small slice of normality to the young athletes of the fencing team: the Easter Fencing by Fincons. This is the name chosen by the youngest fencers of Lugano Scherma for their Easter Tournament sponsored by Fincons on March 31st.
Despite the difficulties, Lugano Scherma carries on his well-known Easter tournament in a new way: since they cannot welcome the audience in their gym because of the Covid-19 restrictions, parents and relatives can watch the event in live streaming.
A small slice of normality? We hope so. With the carefulness needed, yet with the emotions of these young athletes who can get back playing on the fencing piste, and the cheer of the audience who can follow the event from any place in Switzerland and the whole world.
