On 15th June 2018 actors staged at Binario-Nova Theatre in Nova Milanese the theatre show “dentro l’assenza” (“within the absence”), inspired by a true event. Again, for one evening actors and spectators were united by the deep emotions stirred by the stage adaptation, centred on the pain caused by the loss of irreplaceable loved ones.
In this regard the theatre helps not only the actor who, in order to portray a character, must draw on his/her personal source of experience, but it helps the spectator too who, through sympathy, operates a sort of catharsis that pushes him/her to know his/her needs and desires better and in depth.
The metaphor of the journey describes the meaning of the journey itself well: at the end of it we are not the same people as before, we come back full of all that we have seen and experienced in our mind so our baggage is heavier and more precious.
